Purpose of the Role
As a Product Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall success of each project from initiation to closure. With a deep understanding of business perspectives and end-users, the Product Manager acts as the bridge between stakeholders, customers, and the development team, establishing a productive environment for project completion and success.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end responsibility for identifying the scope of work, and deliverables, and tracking their progress toward
- Ensure comprehensive data collection from end customers.
- Collaborate with the data engineering team or utilize the powered platform to ensure full data transformation.
- Convert data to the desired format for end customers by creating configuration files.
- Participate in and contribute to all Agile ceremonies.
- Efficiently utilize the data engineering team by writing requirements, raising JIRA tickets, and following through until completion.
- Manage project-specific steps both individually and as part of the project team, including data assessments, cleansing, mapping, and delivery.
- Ensure accurate and reliable reporting of weekly and monthly data operations.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- Excellent understanding of technical aspects, including data extraction, data transformation, and data cleanup.
- Background in delivering successful products using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- 1-3 years of experience in managing medium-sized projects, preferably in data extraction, transformation, and load environments.
Skills and Attributes
- Excellent and clear communication skills with stakeholders at different levels of seniority and knowledge.
- Ability to understand and learn about user personas and analyze product performance in the market.
- Product management skills for SaaS products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written English skills.
- PMP or PMI-ACP certification is considered a plus.
- Exposure to Mechanical or Electrical engineering (technical terminology) is considered a plus.
