Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Office365 Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing on-premises Active Directory (AD) environments, Microsoft 365 Cloud services, and possess in-depth knowledge of Intune. The candidate should also be familiar with Microsoft Lighthouse and ScreenConnect, as experience with these tools will be considered a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot AD Connect for seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments
- Create and maintain Group Policies to ensure a secure and compliant on-premises AD environment
- Perform regular maintenance tasks for on-premises environments
- Create and manage objects, users, and devices within the AD infrastructure
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including device management and policy creation, and Security
- Manage Windows Update rings, Windows Feature Updates, and Windows quality updates
- Administer Hybrid Devices and Entra Devices, including remediation of applications and deployment tasks
- Configure and manage Autopilot devices, ensuring a streamlined and efficient onboarding process
- Exchange Administration, including spam and phishing prevention, configuring ATP, and defining policies/rules
- SharePoint Administration and Entra ID Administration
- Defender Administration, including cloud security module and Intune configurations
- Implement vulnerability management and execute remediation tasks for client devices
- Facilitate cross-tenant migrations within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Oversee migrations from Google to Microsoft platforms
- Transition from on-premises administration to Intune, ensuring a smooth and secure migration
Required Experience & Knowledge
- Proven experience in managing on-premises Active Directory environments
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Cloud services, including device management, Autopilot, Exchange, SharePoint, and Defender
- Expertise in Intune administration and migration from on-premises solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Lighthouse and ScreenConnect is a strong advantage
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner

Required Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
