Senior Software Engineer (C/C++, Linux) – REF 90 – 06

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (C/C++, Linux) to join a product-focused company building advanced video monitoring solutions powered by AI detection and real-time alerts.

You will contribute to a mature production platform responsible for processing video streams, detecting events in real time, and integrating with multiple distributed services. This is not a greenfield project: the platform already includes legacy components, real-time communication flows, and a large-scale production environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong C/C++ expertise with deep Linux/Unix knowledge and enjoys solving complex engineering problems in production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components written in C and C++.
• Build and improve applications running on Linux and Unix systems.
• Contribute to systems responsible for processing real-time data and events.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Improve and modernize existing codebases.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers working across multiple services and integrations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with C and C++.
• Strong Linux/Unix expertise.
• Deep understanding of operating systems fundamentals.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience debugging complex production systems.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Professional English.

• Experience with streaming media technologies.
