Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend experience with Nest.js, along with solid frontend experience using React. They should also have experience working with relational databases and a good understanding of AWS core services. Experience with Angular and React Native development is a strong plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Nest.js.
- Build and maintain modern web applications using React and Angular.
- Design, develop, and optimize data models and database schemas for PostgreSQL databases.
- Develop scalable REST APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement new features.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot development and production issues.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Contribute to React Native mobile application development when needed.
Required Experience & Knowledge
- 5+ years of Full Stack JavaScript development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Nest.js, and React.
- Experience with React Native or willingness to contribute to React Native applications.
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with Prisma or another ORM is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, and modern web development principles.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with Git version control.
Nice to have
- Experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile development frameworks.
- Experience with Angular
- Experience with Prisma or another ORM.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native applications.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
