Purpose of the Role

The Senior Frontend Engineer will join a newly formed product engineering team responsible for building and scaling a modern application from the ground up. The role focuses on designing and developing high-quality frontend experiences using React and TypeScript, contributing to architectural decisions, and supporting the delivery of scalable and maintainable solutions in a fast-paced product environment.

The platform will handle sensitive user data and requires strong attention to security, privacy, accessibility, and reliability standards. The engineer will contribute to building intuitive and performant user interfaces designed with usability, scalability, and long-term maintainability in mind.

This position involves close collaboration with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features, improve application performance, and ensure the platform supports future growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript
  • Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components and frontend architectures
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features
  • Contribute to frontend architecture and technical decision-making
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
  • Ensure high standards of application security, accessibility, responsiveness, and performance
  • Optimize frontend performance and application scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Support continuous improvement of development workflows and engineering standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend production issues when necessary
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

Required Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Senior-level experience as a Frontend Engineer or React Developer
  • Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices
  • Experience building scalable and responsive web applications
  • Solid understanding of component-based architecture and frontend design patterns
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling
  • Experience working with state management solutions and frontend performance optimization
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern development practices
  • Strong English communication skills and experience working in remote teams
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on greenfield projects or new product development
  • Experience with Next.js or modern React frameworks
  • Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks and automated testing practices
  • Experience working with design systems or reusable component libraries
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
  • Experience building applications handling sensitive or regulated user data

Education & Qualifications
